Command Bar Plus

Welcome to Command Bar Plus. This program is designed to simplify 
Windows operation by reducing clutter on the desktop. By keeping 
commonly used programs on the command bar as buttons, you can speed 
the execution of everyday tasks. Many tasks that would require the 
use of  Microsoft Windows Control Panel, or other utilities, are 
incorporated in the program. Command Bar Plus will:

* Keep Often used programs handy
* Help you keep track of important appointments
* Run other programs
* Easily change Wallpaper
* Change the Screen Saver
* Listen to Audio CD’s
* Play Movies
* Use a Stop Watch to time activities or presentations
* Keep important reminders on the desktop
* Compress/Decompress files
* Set Alarms
* Auto-Start programs you choose
* Dial Phone numbers and keep a phone book of often dialed numbers
* Send/Read mail if your system has MS Mail installed

Command Bar Plus can also be used as the Windows "Shell" program, by
substituting it’s path on the "Shell=" line in the SYSTEM.INI file.

Command Bar Plus requires the VBRUN300.DLL file to be present in 
your Windows System directory in order to run. This file can be 
downloaded from Compuserve, Genie, or any other of the major infor-
mation services.

Installing Command Bar Plus

The following files should be placed in your Windows System directory
if they are not already there (be sure not to replace any newer versions
of any of these files!):

CMDIALOG.VBX

The following files should all be placed in the same directory. You should
create a separate directory (i.e. C:\CMDBAR).

To start Command Bar Plus, just double-click on CMDBAR.EXE from
Windows file manager. You can also drag and drop CMDBAR.EXE onto
any Program manager group, and launch it from there.

Command Bar Plus is easy to use. If you need help, just press F1.
